Professional Conductive Gel for Advanced Treatments
Ion Gel is a multifunctional, water-based conductive medium designed to optimize performance for ultrasound, galvanic, and microcurrent treatments. Its hydrophilic structure supports smooth glide, consistent conductivity, and enhanced client comfort while maintaining skin integrity.
Why Ion Gels Perform Exceptionally Well with Devices
High Thermal Stability
Maintains structural integrity under heat generated by ultrasound and other electrical modalities, ensuring consistent slip and performance throughout the treatment.
Negligible Volatility
Formulated with stable aqueous and humectant systems that resist rapid evaporation, maintaining optimal hydration and conductivity during longer services.
Low Coefficient of Friction
Provides superior glide, reducing drag on the skin and enhancing treatment comfort while protecting the barrier.
Biocompatible & Skin-Respecting
Formulated with skin-compatible humectants and botanical extracts, making it ideal for professional facial and corrective treatments.
-
Enhances electrical conductivity for microcurrent and galvanic treatments
-
Supports efficient ultrasonic transmission
-
Maintains moisture balance during device use
-
Provides cushion and slip to reduce epidermal stress
-
Compatible with corrective and barrier-support protocols
For enhanced performance, Ion Gel may be layered over targeted serums when appropriate for the modality.
Professional Treatment Protocol
1. Inspect the Device
-
Check device and power cable for visible damage before and after use.
-
Ensure electrodes are clean and properly sanitized.
2. Setup
-
Secure the desired electrode to the red wire handle.
-
Ensure client has removed all jewelry prior to treatment.
3. Apply Ion Gel
-
Apply a generous layer to the treatment area.
-
Keep the skin consistently moist throughout the procedure.
-
Glide the active electrode from the inside to the outside of the face.
-
Treatment time: 5–7 minutes per area (or per protocol).
-
If compatible with your device, blend in an appropriate serum to enhance results.
-
Rehydrate as needed using a hydrating mist such as a growth-factor or peptide toner.
4. Monitor Client Comfort
-
Continuously assess sensation and adjust intensity accordingly.
5. Post-Treatment
-
Remove gel thoroughly with warm steamed towels.
-
Apply appropriate finishing serum and barrier-support moisturizer.
